Join Dixie Sommers, the Treasurer of the Audubon Society of Northern Virginia who has traveled the world in search of birds, in a bird walk BEFORE the official opening of the Eagle Festival. We'll look for migrating birds, woodpeckers, eagles, osprey and others.  Bring your binoculars!  IMPORTANT: We will meet at the playground parking lot -- NOT the Visitor Center -- so we don't interfere with set-up of the Eagle Festival.
